CHEMTROL ™ AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS
Water treatment for swimming pools, spas and industrial applications requires the combination of a number of physical and chemical processes, including pumping, filtration, chemical treatment, heating and water replacement. Because the processing equipment is made by different manufacturers and controlled individually, installation and operation of the system is complicated and inefficient.
The CHEMTROL™ PC controllers incorporates all the monitoring control and communication functions into a single integrated Master Control Center designed around a powerful microprocessor. The integrated Main Screen display enables the operator to supervise all the process functions at a glance and to quickly respond to any changing condition.
The CHEMTROL™ PC controller operates like a computer with full screen displays and direct access to all menus and submenus. The front panel keypad is used to move up and down each menu and enter or exit the submenus. All operating functions can be easily modified from the keypad, including sensor calibration, control set points, alarm levels and the programs for superchlorination, sequential backwashing, chemical and energy savings.
With the communication package,all facilities can be monitored either by remote, computer or by telephone. This allows real-time supervision by management and remote troubleshooting by a CHEMTROL™ Qualified Dealer or by the factory support department. The remote operation option makes it possible to control all operating functions from a remote PC computer. The voice telephone option includes status reports, operational control and automatic call-out with voice message to up to three different phone numbers in case of emergency.

THE CHEMTROLTM PC 5000
The Chemtrol™ PC5000 programmable controller features a revolutionary solid-state PPM SENSOR that gives easy-to-use, direct and reliable reading of Free Chlorine (HOCL) Concentration in water. This advanced controller introduces a new standard of sophistication in automated water treatment for many applications such as swimming pools, spas, cooling towers and industrial water treatment.
Unlike conventional amperometric sensors, this sensor is simple to install and operate because it does not require expensive reagents or special flow cells and is compatible with cyanuric acid (CYA) at all concentrations. It also be retrofitted on existing CHEMTROL™ PC3000 and PC6000 controllers.
For the first time in automated water treatment, the combination of PPM and ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) sensors gives the operator the capability to control either chlorine residual or oxidizing activity. This also makes it ideal for control of a separate oxidizer in the Automated Chloramine Treatment (ACT) program.

CHEMTROL 250, CHLORINE/BROMINE AND PH CONTROLLER
The CHEMTROLTM 250, digital ORP/pH Controller uses two electronic sensors to monitor the pH of the water and the Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP or Redox) of the sanitizer. Using sensor data, the electronic control module displays pH and ORP values and activates the chemical feeders as required to maintain the proper chemical levels, regardless of fluctuations in weather and bather load. Like a thermostat maintaining a constant temperature, the controller prevents overfeeding or underfeeding, both of which are detrimental to good water quality.The CHEMTROLTM 250 ORP/pH Controller works with all sanitizers recognized by the health departments, i.e. all forms of chlorine, bromine and ozone. |

The CHEMTROL® 255 PPM/pH Controller introduces a long awaited technological breakthrough in automated water treatment with a proprietary new sensor for Free Chlorine.
TRUE PPM READING
The new PPM Sensor is a solid state sensor with a selective membrane that provides direct readings of Free Chlorine in water at concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 10 ppm (part per million) or mg/l (milligrams per liter). These are true readings of Free Chlorine and not approximate values derived from ORP readings.
A significant advantage of this sensor is that it's not affected by cyanuric acid (CYA) stabilizer and/or oxidizers, thereby assuring constant Free Chlorine levels at all times. Extensive laboratory and field tests have shown it to be very accurate and reliable.

CONTROL PH WITH CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2)
CO2 has been used for many years in commercial pools as a substitute for liquid acid. CO2 lowers pH in a pool, just like liquid acid, but without the
storage, handling and transportation concerns of liquid acid. The traditional downside of CO2 is that while it lowers pH, it has a tendency to raise total
alkalinity. For years the solution to this has been to add liquid acid periodically to counteract the alkalinity increase caused by the CO2. Of course, this
negates the biggest benfits of CO2. The storage, handling and transportation concerns still exist! The reason for the alkalinity increase is attributed to
improper, sloppy injection of CO2 into the pool. Sloppy injection causes an increased usage of CO2. The bigger the CO2 bubbles are when they are
injected, the less efficient the usage and the greater the alkalinity effect. Finer bubbles create more surface area contacting the water, thus increasing
efficiency. Our new CO2 injection system is the first CO2 injection system to effectively diffuse CO2 bubbles small enough to substantially decrease
the alkalinity effect and reduce CO2 usage. This system is the most effective CO2 injection system available for swimming pools today. Our system
injects CO2 through a ten micron diffusion plate, which is placed inside a patented bypass assembly. We offer four different systems listed below.
