The most versatile and easily handling backboard on the market especially for 2-guard rescues. Made of 5/8" Marine Plywood with capped runners on the bottom. Capped head and foot bumpers. The 4 velcro body straps stay coiled to the board when not in use. “Bookend” style Head immobilizer secures to the board with pressure sensitive velcro for quick, secure and accurate in-line stabilization. TOMCAT SPINEBOARD CERVICAL IMMOBILIZATION DEVICE
A sturdy, lightweight backboard, the Tomcat ICID features a fully functioning cervical immobilization device ready to deploy within seconds. The paddles provide rigid and reliable immoblization, and snap securely down into the backboard when not in use making the ICID easy to store. The included disposable foam blocks and Velcro® straps are easy to apply and eliminate the possible transmission of blood and pathogens. The ICID features an integrated pupil guage, Glasgow Coma Scale, and Rule of 9's. Elevated occipital padding area aids cervical spine alignment. Extra-large hand holds fit gloved hands and are angled to reduce wrist strain. Weight capacity is 400 lbs.
