ASTRAL FIBERGLASS FILTERS

The Astral’s commercial filter ranges from 42'' to 92''. We offer the greatest and most advanced technology for commercial pool installations. All filter tanks are made of non-corrosive fiberglass and polyester resin which provides a maximum working pressure of 50 PSI with a test pressure of 90 PSI. Each filter is fitted with collector lateral and diffusers made of PVC and polypropylene which allows a maximum working temperature of 122oF. All components of the filter tank manifold are manufactured by Astral. They have manifold support stands that will support either the 4 or 5 valve header. All materials are corrosion resistant, NSF listed.
Astral Standard Features:
• Extra thick tank, 50 psi rating
• Heavy Duty tight sealing manhole
• Tank couplings are all 150# flanges
• Internal distribution & collection system installed & braced for shipping
• Extra deep sand bed (36'') for more efficient filtration/backwashes
• Extra large media dump port (3''-5'') and winterizing drain
• Total factory construction

STARK FILTERS

Each Stark filter tank is manufactured under the strictest quality-control procedures.The patented,integral composite fiberglass construction eliminates welds or seams that can leak, blow out, orrupture from vacuum damage.

All NSF-listed Stark filters are designed for 100 PSI working pressure, exceeding most industry standards. As much as 80 continuous miles of resinimpregnated fiberglass filament are wound under tension, both orbitally and circumferentially for consistent quality. The resulting tank is both light weight and strong. Stark's 100 percent corrosion-resistant fiberglass filters provide the perfect solution: dependable performance with ease of operation.

AUTOMATIC CONTROLS
The Stark programmable microprocessor controller governs the numerous functions of the filter system. Readouts for flow rate,influent and effluent pressures, temperature and many other features are provided. The push of a button converts the system read outs from English to metric. A CLEAR, SEE-THROUGH VALVE!
Now, when the valve is actuated, you can see the direction the water is going, as well as its cleanliness. And you can visually inspect the side port seals without removing the valve from the system!

FIBERGLASS HAIR & LINT STRAINERS

Our Fiberglass Strainers with clear see-through lid allow for inspection of the basket without stopping filtration. The lid swings away by loosening four knobs. This is considerably easier than removing the lid of a conventional metal strainer. Until the introduction of these units, metal strainers were still being used in conjunction with totally PVC pool piping systems.
